Thanks for contacting with your health concern
1. Enclofert [enclomiphene] has a similar action to the female hormone
estrogen and is used to induce egg production in women who are not ovulating properly or due to certain medical conditions.
PS. Apart from other side effects, the enlarged ovary is a documented and common side effect of the drug and because you are under her observation thus she must have taken necessary precautions to overcome the same, so it is the 'certain medical/other conditions' which can be excluded like:
- excessive stress
- loosing or putting too much of weight
- heavy exercises
- suffering from
PCOD [polycystic ovarian disease] or having a high level of
prolactin [hormone]
2. one commonest cause [apart from above reasons] is functional ovarian cysts which will prevent bleeding, thus it is wise to get an abdominal USG done which will reveal if there are any ovarian cysts.
PS. since UPT is negative so it is best to seek suggestion to know why you have missed your periods, a Gynecologist would be ideal to consult, for appropriate examination/investigations.
