Is Pregnancy Possible After Taking Birth Control Pills After Unprotected Sex?

I had unprotected sex the first of January. I could not afford the Plan B pill so I took 2 birth control pills the morning of, and 3 each day for the next 3 days .I followed directions I found online, not smart I know). I had only been off my regular period for a week and a half at the time of the unprotected sex. I had a period the next week after taking the BC pills. This month, 2 weeks earlier than I should have started, I had a slight period. I have tested twice withe negatives both times.Could I be pregnant?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
According to your description, the possibility of pregnancy is less. As:
-Oral contraceptive pills in high dose can act as emergency contraceptive pills.
-You took the tablets within 24 hours of the act.
-In case of regular periods, the possibility of ovulation is less during that period.
-You got withdrawal bleeding after taking tablets.
As you interfered with normal menstrual cycle by taking high dose pills, that may be responsible for your menstrual irregularity.
Possibly your cycles will get regularized soon.
Take care.
