Is Pregnancy Possible After Taking Postinor-2?
Hello doctor . So on the 30th of July there was an incident . My bf ejaculated on me and some got inside and on my panty. I was afraid so took postinor 2 5 hours later and the second dosage 12 hrs later . I got a few side effects but no bleeding . I google d that it doesn t prevent pregnancy after ovulation .. I think I had already ovulated .. Pls help me .. Can I be pregnant ?

Understand your concern
Postinor 2 is also effective in preventing the pregnancy after ovulation.
It makes the changes in the endometrium and prevent the fertilization & implantation.
As you took with in 2.5 hour of sex, it is highly effective in preventing the pregnancy(success rate around 95 %).
It is not necessary that bleeding will occur after taking postinor 2.
There is no relation between bleeding and prevent the pregnancy.
Your period may be delayed by 8-10 days by postinor 2 as it prolongs the second phase of cycle.
If period will be delayed by 12-14 days then confirm the pregnancy by pregnancy test and or blood HCG.
If you will be pregnant then still you can terminate by abortion pill under the advice of gynecologist.
So do not worry, chance of pregnancy is less.
