Is Pregnancy Possible After Removing Fallopian Tube?

My "adopted" daughter is 32 and had a laparoscopy this week and the doctor discovered she has endometriosis. He removed a fallopian tube. She is unmarried and has never had children. I am concerned about the drug he has recommended...Lupron. Will it hurt more than it helps? Would it be better for her to get pregnant?

Dear thanks for the question and welcome to hcm.

Yes she can get pregnant if only one fallopian tube is removed, you can ask the surgeon who has performed the surgery or can even check from the hospital notes. If both fallopian tubes are removed but uterus is there, your daughter can go for iVF, where fertilisation is done in laboratory and then implanted in uterus.

I wish her good luck and health. Please write to hcm for follow up queries. Hit a thanks. Thank you
