Is Pregnancy Difficult In Women Suffering With Thyroid Disorder?

i have thyroid and i consult my doctor i am taking medicine thyronorm 75 last 5 month and i go for regular check up aftet 3 month. I herd about there is complication of pregnancy for thyroid patient . I am 28 year old. is there is no solution for thyroid . Or what should i do for future palanning for baby

Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

You have a thyroid condition and this will not usually interfere with your ability to have children. You will need to be monitored closely through your pregnancy but you should be fine. Frequently in the first trimester we find some women with low or abnormal thyroid function and we need to treat. Without treatment there is risk to the child. Since you already have thyroid problems we can prevent any problems with your child
