Is Potassium Sorbate Safe For Renal Failure Patients?
My 59 year old husband has acute renal failure caused by rhabdomyolysis, brought on by statin drugs. We are trying to follow a renal diet, but so many things have potassium sorbate as a preservative. Is it safe for him to have a small amount of this?
