Hello,
Rupture of hymen is common during the first intercourse. Often this is associated with some spotting and occasionally, bleeding along with pain. As the tear heals, pain subsides. Bleeding does not persist, it is only a single episode usually. Please do not worry, this is mostly not related to the urinary tract. Of course, you may experience some cystitis after first intercourse due to pressure on the urethra; this subsides with symptomatic management. Please abstain until you heal well. Take care.
