Is Pneumonia Contagious?
Is pneumonia contagious, I have been sick with it for about three weeks now and am at home everyone tells me to stay away from them do not come outside or near them they do not want to catch if from me. They act as if I have the plaque or something.

It is all depends what kind of organism caused the pneumonia, if this is viral in origin then this could infection to other but this is not common, and most of the time infection does not cause harm to other even after the close contact, hope this information helps.
