I currently have the Mirena IUD placed. and lately i have been experiencing symptoms that i am not sure if they are normal or not. I got my IUD placed in the end of january and for the first two months i was constantly bleeding almost every other day. After that i experienced severe cramps and back pain i went to the hospital for it and they didnt do much except give me pain medicine. After that everything seemed fine i didnt get any cramps and i finally stopped bleeding every other day and moved on to light spotting here and there or id have my period. the only thing that hadnt stopped is i would continue to have blood clots come out when id go to the bathroom. Well in the last week or so my boyfriend and i had intercourse and the first time everything was ok and then we would have it again and i started bleeding and it was bright red and wasnt like period blood. after the first time this happened i thought maybe we were just being too rough. Well a few days later we did it again and the first time again everything was normal and then we would go for a second time and i would be bleeding a ton again. Im not sure if this is because the IUD but im starting to get scared.

Mild spotting or even slight bleeding is commonly seen for upto 20 days after inserting an IUD. There may also be some bleeding after intercourse few times. Intermittent cramps are also common. All these symptoms are because of IUD only and you need not feel scared now.

if my iud moved. Dr says it needs taken out and replaced. Will i have same bleeding side effects on replacement iud as i did on first one placed? I hoped that uterus would be somewhat use to an iud and the bleeding time would be much less than the approximate six mth time.
Hello my name is megan i just recently in march had my 2nd child who was premature and born ten weeks early due to an abbrubtion. I then had the mirena iud inserted about six weeks ago and went for my ultra sound yesterday and had to get the iud removed and reinserted today because it moved. My dr told me that i have a backwards uterus he reinserted the iud today and told me theres a possabilty it can move again is this sometging i should be concerened about as ive read stories with people having the same issues and the outcomes were all negative. Durring my pregnancy ive experienced really heavy bleeding for a few months which led to me haven my daughter ten weeks early and when the iud was insereted the first time ive experineced really bad cramps bloating and bleeding im just worried that the iud will dislodge itself again becoming a another problem
I had a iud put in about 1 1/2 months ago and started bleeding 2 weeks and have not stopped pretty heavy. Yesterday I started passing large blood clots any where from golf ball to baseball size. During one of them my Iud came out with it. The bleeding and cramping stopped until about an hour ago and now I am passing the large blood clots again. Is this normal?
Can Paraguard IUD cause constipation ? I have my second Paraguard IUD placed a year ago (the first one was displaced, so it had to be removed). After the placement of the second IUD I started experiencing bloating, constipation and my stools became hard and dry. Can this be related to the Paraguard?
I just got the Paragard taken out of me today.. I have PSVT and I just wanted to know if I will be ok? With them taking the Paragard out it will not bother my heart at all will it? I heard if you have Wolf Parkison White its not good to have had the Paragard in at all, but would it bother a person with PSVT? I have been having hot flashes all night long. It may be from my nerves (i have panic attacks from worrying a lot and stress bc of my heart problems), but I just want to make sure it's not from them taking the Paragard out of me earlier this afternoon? I am 23 years old..
Periods have been lasting from 2 weeks up to 4 weeks and comes every 2 weeks instead of 28 days. Periods are heavy with increased cramping. Intercourse is painful. PMS is awful, awful mood swings, overall body aches during PMS, resembles flu...
I had my paragard removed feb 17 which should have been my ovulation day. I thought I started my period on march 2 which would have been on time, however it ended the next afternoon. Was this a real period and is this normal? Should I see a doctor or give it a month and see if it levels out?
To whom it may concern, I am experiencing some mild to moderate pain when urinating (at the end of the process). I would describe the pain as sharp. There is no burning and I do not have abdominal pain . I am suspecting a bladder infection/UTI,...
I had Paragard inserted 4 months ago, and my fiance had a vasectomy month before that. I'm now a week late for my period. Realistically, how much of a chance is there that I'm pregnant? I'm very regular when it comes to my menstrual cycle and the...
