Is Patchy Paracardiac Cosolodation A Symptom Of TB?

Hi Doctor I am 28 years old & I have cough problem for last few months now as prescribed by the doctor we got done the x-ray of thTBe chest and in the report it is showing that there is consolidation patch is seen in right paracardiac region. Also i am not face any kind pain in chest. Is it symptoms of TB? kindly help me please.....

Thanks for your question on HCM.
Paracardiac consolidation on right side can be due to
1. Bacterial pneumonia
2. TB
3. Aspiration pneumonia.
So we need to find out the causative organism for proper diagnosis and treatment.
So get done sputum examination for TB and culture to find out bacteria other than TB bacilli.
If sputum production is not there than get done Bronchoscopy and BAL ( Broncho Alveolar Lavage ) analysis.
So your right paracardiac consolidation can be due to tuberculosis or other bacterial infection. Chances of tuberculosis is less in your case.
So better to consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.
