Is Painful Urination Normal While On BCG Treatment For Bladder Cancer?

I am currently on BCG treatment for bladder cancer. I am also being treated for CLL with Ibrutinib. Lately the BCG treatments have felt very caustic . I have terrible pain when I urinate right after the treatment and for several hours after. I also have some bleeding. This did not happen when I had my first treatment...but I was also not taking the Ibrutinib at that time. Just checking that this is not worrisome. YYYY@YYYY

This is normal in certain degree and this happens due to irritation or urethra and bladder during the BCG procedure sou this should not worry you. You should just be patient for few weeks.
