Is pain in legs common after walking for several miles during old age?

I walk several miles a day for exercise but over the last 2 months both of my legs feel like like they are getting weak. I'm 60 yrs old/male and in good health.I also notice when I walk up a flight of stairs my legs feel tired. I have had a history of back problems but this doesn't feel anything like it because I have no pain. This has come on pretty quickly and really concerns me.

From your description, I am of the opinion that due to advance age veins gradually lose elasticity and thus causes similar presentation in calf muscles.

You can go for venography of both lower limbs and should go for a 2D Echocardiogram for tiredness. serum Vitamin D3 level and calcium levels are also suggested.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
