Hello, There Doc;, My name is Tony a, I m a 56yr old, male, in good health, but i have some issues about a pain i have when i cough , i get a pain, i my chest around my heart ! and a lower pain down by my left groan , area! I want know if its related to smoking cigarettes, or something else! I have high b/p, and i don t take anything for it ! Am i looking for trouble if i don t start to monitor my HTN, i m also a student in Pharmacy tech school, I need a health plan !

yes, it is due to smoking.

now... there are several possible reasons from collapsed lung (no, very rare, you'd know it if you had it), to muscle strains to inflammation of the lung (very likely) often with wheeze and other signs of inflammation.
