Is Pain Behind The Ears, Neck And Eyes Indicative Of Sinus Problems?

I have headaches quite often, I think it is my sinuses cause sometimes the pain hurts behind my ears and now I have a terrible pain in the back of my neck. My nose never runs and sometimes I wake up with pain in behind my eyes so bad that I can hardly open my eyes. I was wondering if this pain in the back of my neck could be sinus related?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pain in back of neck, ears and eyes. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to certain reasons like sinusitis as you also mention , ear infection , TMJ problem or cervical problem . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , MRI along with taking history . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like amoxicillin , anti allergic in case of allergy , decongestant or expectorant . Doctor may also refer you to ENT specialist or orthopedic surgeon in case of neck problem . For now take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
