Is Oxyelite Pro Advised Along With HCTZ For Hypertension?

I am a 54 y/o, an have recently started taking Hctz for borderline hypertension. I also take a few herbals such as Biotin (hair thinning), B complex (energy metabolisim), and Black CoHosh (for hot flashes). Do you think there is any problem for me to start Oxyelite Pro?

OxyElite Pro contains a series of multi ingredient nutritional supplements that act as far burner and used to lose body weight, decrease appetite, burn the body fat etc according to the manufacturer of this product. OxyElite Pro is a weight loss supplement but this product contains fluoxetine that is used in mental disorder like depression, bulimia etc., according to the FDA. On the other hand, HCTZ or Hydrochlorothiazide belongs to the group of medications known as diuretics that is used in the treatment of high blood pressure and prevention of strokes, heart attacks or kidney problems by controlling high blood pressure.

HCTZ usually works by excreting more fluids from body in the form of urine. Again, OxyElite Pro is a thermogenic fat burner and it works by producing excessive sweating. So, using of both HCTZ and OxyElite Pro may make you dehydrated very easily, other no known interaction has been found. So, it will be wise for you, before using OxyElite Pro along with your HCTZ, you should consult your doctor first.
