General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Numbness can happen after fracturing of leg bones.

It is due to nerve impingement and nerve injury due to fractures segments.

You can consult an orthopedician and plan for an MRI scan to rule out possible nerve involvement.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,

Hello,

It is due to minor contusion and edema of the nerves. Generally, it will settle by itself.

If symptoms persist it is better to consult an orthopedician and plan for an MRI scan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
