Is Norovirus In Patients With Gallstones Serious?

My father in law whois 84yrs of age was rushed into hospital with pains in his abdomen last week, he is being treated for gallstones. When we visited he had a drain attached. he was discharging fluid which was a dark brown? He now has the nor virus so we cannot visit. Is this serious? Thank you

noro virus infections are not so serious as you think. these infections occurs mostly in crowded places like hospitals,nursing homes, schools. in most of the
patients it gets cured unless it has complications like severe dehydration,fatigue, dizziness. it is highly contagious infection. close contact with patient can also spread the infection. hope i have answered your question, if you have further questions i will be happy to help.
