Is Norethisterone Useful To Get Period?
hi, i m 21 years old, i haven t get ,my period for the last 2 months, i went to the doctor and she prescribed to me norethisterone ( steronate tabs) for a dose regimen of 3 tabs daily for 5 days, i want to know how this drug is useful for my case and what should i do if i don t get my period 3 days after stopping treatment as she said?

Hello dear, it results in periods within a week of stopping the medicine. Very rarely in case periods don't come you should get an ultrasound done. Also I would suggest you to do a urine pregnancy test also if you are sexually active. Wish you all the best.
