Is Night Sweats And Weight Gain Symptoms Of Menopause?
I m 60 yrs old and had a hysto. when I was 35. Didn t start having any menopausal symptoms still I was 50 all my life I ve been between 100 - 125 lbs. Now I have what my GYN Dr. says is symptomatic menopause with night sweats. Since I finished with going through actual menopause I ve increasingly been gaining weight and have no idea why. I don t eat very much during the day and what I do eat isn t fattening type foods. I have an injury to the thoraicasic portion of my back and have a medical pain pump for it. Because of this I can t do a lot of actual exercise, but I m still active. My current weight is approx. 200 lbs and I just can t seem to lose any of it. What can you suggest? I would appreciate any assistance as this weight prevents me from doing a lot of the things I love and has caused a slight loss of breath when doing things. Please Help
Having night sweats, mood changes and some amount of weight gain is normally seen with menopause. You need to increase your exercise to keep your body fit and well-toned.
