Is Neck Tightness And Breathing Difficulties Due To Gabapentin?

I'm going through menopause and I have a lot of the most common effects. I also take Gabapentin for neuropathy. I started afew days with difficult in breathing for anew mins. And my neck feels tight doing the process. Is it the medicine or another side of menopause I'm going through?

Thanks for your query.
To the best of my knowledge gabapentin doesn't cause any breathing difficulties. It may be due to your menopause or may be due to underlying heart or lung diseases like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, ischemic heart disease. Therefore I suggest you to go for certain tests like ECG in all leads, spirometry and echocardiography, lipid profile, fasting blood sugar and thyroid profile and also get yourself examined thoroughly by your doctor.
