Is Nebulizer Safe For Kids As The Doctor Has Advised To Use It For One And Half Month?

hi Dr, /my daughter is 4 yrs old she is suffering from paediatric asthma tht`s wht dr`s say as her father is having asthma. When she has cold cough she ends up in wheezing , vomiting and unstoppable cough. I am giving her duolin and budecort nebulizer. Recently she was detected as minor phenumonia dr have asked to continue with nebilizer for 1.5month. I would like to how far is this nebulizer safe that to having with these medication. Will my kid be used to this nebulizer forever.Require your suggestion.

Hi. Nebulization with the medicines you mentioned are quite safe. It is better to do only if she coughs / wheezing / breathlessness. Nebulizers are safe provided she is the only one to use this machine. No worry about cross-infection. The kid may not get used to it.
