Is Nausea And Faint Positive UPT Sign Of Pregnancy?
Hello. I have been on birth control for 10 months. The first six months I was on the depo shot but I bled everyday very lightly for the whole six months so my ob switched me to the patch whic I have been using for four months. About two weeks ago I was on antibiotics and we forgot and still had unprotected sex. Now it is about five days before I am due to start my period, which is on a normal 28 dt cycle, and I woke up this morning with a very pale pink discharge andit has been coin on all day. There isn't a lot but its consistently the same color. I took a pregnancy test yesterday and I got a VERY faint positive and I was wondering if I could be pregnant and if it is implantation boredom. Not to mention I have had to take fiinigrin a few times because of nausea. But other than that I have no other symptoms.
Yes, a positive pregnancy test, even with a faint line is indicative of a pregnancy. Nausea is one of symptoms due to the surge in pregnancy hormones.
I recommend : -a blood hcg level to Confirm the pregnancy -an ultrasound at 6-8 weeks to check for fetal heart beat. -an OBGYN consult asap to make sure all is well. -a daily folic acid supplement. - a healthy diet, plenty of water -quit smoking and alcohol (if you take them) -a protein meal first thing in the morning helps curb the nausea. A minty or citrus scent will help too. (a slice of lemon or orange zest).
Hope this helps. I believe Congratulations are in order. Take care and please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Wish you good health
