Is Nasal Dripping Common After Septoplasty & FESS?

Hello Doctor, I have gone through Septoplasty & FESS one month ago. I have got AEC done few days back & it is 0.5 thou/mm3. I am still having lot of post nasal dripping. I want to ask if post nasal dripping is common after septoplasty & FESS. Further what can be done to reduce AEC count.

Hello

Yes it is common and will come down in few weeks , the AEC is increased due to an allergy and will reduce once the allergy is controlled. you will need medications and steroid sprays to control your allergy and once it is controlled you will be better and counts will become normal.
