Is Myoma At Fundal Border And Gestational Sac Of 13.9mm Concerning?
i am 23 yrs old and a uterine myoma was noted at my fundal border measuring 30.6mm*30.0mm( fundal intramural in diameter) and a gestational sac of 13.9mm in its longest diameter...pls is it dangerous to my baby nd wat will b d effect if i want to under go a D&C section

hi,a intramural fibroid increases the chances of preterm delivery and abortion but since its in the fundal region it is unlikely to have any negative impact on your pregnancy.its absolutely safe to continue the pregnancy.supposedly if you undergo a d&c since fibroids become highly vascular in pregnancy so you come at increased risk of bleeding at the time of d and c.though continuation of pregnancy is safe in your case.take care.
