Is Movement Of Head And Arms In A Coma Patient A Sign Of Recovery?
Hi my husband is in cona state had several strokes and the doctors say he will never be the same and chances of living they can say the majority of his brain was damaged but we see tgat he is now starting to move head arms and body his eyes fkutter alot is that a sign of recovery
In full coma state there would be no movement of body. So the movements noticed by you are good signs as suggesting recovery. But in multiple stroke case the speed of recovery can not be predicted. Though there is a chance of demotion of recovery process the body movement is a good sign of recovery. Some neuroprotector drugs may help his recovery.
