Is Missed Period With Dizziness And Hot Flushes Sign Of Pregnancy?
My period is a week late. I've taken 3 pregnancy tests...all negative. The last one I took was 6 days after my missed period, still negative. I have been extremely stressed out these past couple of weeks and have some trouble sleeping. I am starting to feel dizzy and really hot. Could this be stress related, or should I worry about pregnancy? I am on the pill and use condoms as well.
Hi, If you are regular with the contraceptive usage, chances of failure are very less since you use double protection. Yet, please get an assay of the serum beta-hCG titres to conclusively exclude/confirm pregnancy. Stress can often delay or advance a menstrual cycle as hormones get disturbed due to stress. Your symptoms are not specific for pregnancy. A trans-vaginal sonogram after a couple of days can add to the blood test in clarification of the situation. Hope your query has been answered. Wish you good health.
