OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

It is less likely that merina cause cancer. cuts do not cause cancer but can cause inflammation and pain, but less commonly hormonal IUDs have more effect on maintaining periods but less likely to cause cancer if it is of progestrone.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Richa Agarwal, OBGYN
