If you don't have a proper beard then the first thing is to see & ask your dad about his beard. Most of the time it is a genetic issue that some males have a less hair growth on body but it is not a problem .The reason for this is hormonal.Mintop is a medicine which acts as a vasodilator & it causes dilatation of blood vessels & hair follicle so it is used by peopl when prescribed by doctor for hair growth on head. For beard it is rarely seen being used.Since it is a vasodilator it is to be used in precaution as it causes headache in some people so better not to be used without doctors advise & should not be used by person who has history of migraine.common side effects are nausea;palpitations;lightheadedness;rash;increased hair growth.
Take care.
