Is Metrogyl Recommended For Stomach Disorder And Fever And Suggest Dosage?

Dear Doctor, My colleague is having stomach disorder and a bit of fever in office in Kolkata,India...he is 29 yrs of age,5'6" height and 60 Kgs weight...we have emergency pharma back up stock in office like Metrogyl 400, Crocin...could you pls advise if we can apply Metrogyl on him and what would be the dosage...and if you want to suggest any other...

Your query being appreciated, Metronidazole is given for infection, while here it is the stomach disorder and this does not indicates the state of infection, disorder could be anything right from the dyspepsia, pain, hyperacidity, but may not be infection.
From the history given I could say that it could be dyspepsia and it could be associated with hyperacidity, and for that I would suggest to Tab Omeprazole 40 mg with Domperidone 20 mg once in day.
