General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
Vitamin B 12 , methylcobalamine , cynacobalamin, mecobalamin all are synonym and have no difference i.e. one & same thing .
The normal requirement of B12 is (adults ) 2.4 mcg.
Adverse reactions are ( orally ) nausea, vomiting diarrhea.
Parental rash , headache , hot sensation diaphoresis , anaphylasis .
When my patient feel such type of nausea & abdominal discomfort due to oral use I advise them to take this medicine after meal or food .
You can also take proton pump inhibitor like pantoprazole- D once or twice in a day.
Good luck.
