I am a caregiver to a man 62 years who is type 2 diabetic (due to eating improperly) however I have more concern about his thinking process. He has known me for over 5 years yet could not remember my last name. Also he does not follow through on simple directions: ie call doctor when he runs out of meds ( he was told how to do this) also he lies on practically everything that he thinks would make him "look" to be "wrong" Did you exercise? Did you eat such and such? Do you take a shower every day? Do you change your underwear every day? I know he is lying due to the fact he stinks. his laundry shows how many prs of underwear he used. He's putting on more pounds every day. etc
