Child age = 5.5 yrs. Suffering with fever since 5 days Fever peak was 103+ once while normally it reaches to 101-102. Crocin didn't work so we have been giving Crocin + Meftal (5ml each) and tht takes care for 6 hrs. we repeat medication in 8 hrs (approx). The fever doesn't seem to come down in terms of frequency :(. Saw a ped also, he says we will wait since blood report and urine report show no infection. I will be doing Dengue test tomorrow.
Question: How safe is Meftal-P for kids every 8 hrs? and is it safe to give Meftal + crocin together? What else I can do for my kid?
