Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hello,
I can understand your concern.
When TSH value is between 4-10 mUi/ml and Ft4 is within the normal ranges, treatment is recommended only if you have symptoms of hypothyroidism or high cholesterol level.
You didn't mention your age and gender, but if you are a female and plan to have a pregnancy, TSH level should be corrected before.
So, i would advice to start treatment with levothyroxine and check the TSH level and lipid profile 8 weeks after.
Hope the information will help.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
