Is Medical Marijuana Advisable For A Person With Pulmonary Embolism?

Hello. I was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism 3 weeks ago, but they suspect I have had it for 2 weeks prior to the diagnosis. My body rejects the medication, so that has been taken out as an option and the doctors have been discussing different ways I can approach my attempt at recovery. In the meantime, I have not been able to sleep at all and my body does not get hungry, and makes me feel sick when I eat. I have never smoked before, but I was considering taking medical marijuana in the form of edibles to help me deal with not only my anxiety towards my illness, but also help me eat and sleep. Would this be dangerous? or is it worth a try? Thank you for your help!

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, in your case narcotic should never be tried because it may cause respiratory distress in my opinion underlying cause of the medical condition only needs to be treated better than thinking about symptomatic medicines, hope this information helps.
