Is Loss Of Energy, Gaining Weight And Fatigue Due To Thyroid?

Hi, Im 21 years old and im six months postpartum. I am extremely fatigued and weak. I am having trouble losing the weight and i seem to keep gaining despite my diet. I have been having irregular menstral cycles and i have also noticed a small amount of hair on my jaw line. I don't feel like im alive anymore and im tired of not having any energy. Is it possible that i have a thyroid problem.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Loss of energy, fatigue and weight gain is commonly seen in hypothyroidism.

You should check your T3, T4 and TSH level (thyroid function test).
It will give you exact idea whether you have hypothyroidism or not. Then you should take treatment accordingly.
Levothyroxine is commonly used to treat hypothyroidism.
Consult your doctor and plan accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
