Is liver disease stage 4 associated with chest pain and cough?

I am having hot searing, stabbing pain in my chest. Middle of chest. I have a chronic cough as well, which exacerbates after a coughing fit. Sometimes it just hits out of nowhere. I have liver disease (stage 4). Would this be associated with the chest pains?

Thanks for your question on HCM. Any liver disease with end stage tend to hamper liver function. So proteins are not produced by liver, especially albumin. So due to hypoalbuminemia there is accumulatin of fluid in pleual cavity and abdiminal cavity. This can cause coughing and chest pain due to pleural effusion. Another possibility is infection in chest. Due to low protiens body tend to produce less antibodies so infections are very common in this patients. So get done chest x ray to rule out effusion or infection.
