Is Lipoic Acid Capsules Safe To Take With Insulin ?
I am diabetic and an Indian. on diabetic medication for the last 20 years. I am now 60. I would like to give a try for alpha lipoic acid capsules for my atherosclerosis. What is the brand name in India and whether it is safe to take along with Insulin and other diabetic medicines.

dear sir/madam I can understand your concern.
the Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) is an anti oxidant suppliment it's a very good suppliment which is approved by FDA for use in diabetic neuropathy.
it's safe to take with insulin it reduces oxidative stress and prevent damage to nerves and arteries.
in India it comes in combination with other multivitamins in my opinion tab Matilda plus or forte is a good brand
