General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Levolin Syrup contains a bronchodilator (Levosalbutamol) that acts by opening the smaller airways and thus used to treat difficulty in breathing associated with of allergic bronchitis, asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Since your child did not respond to three different course of antibiotic she seems to be having some sort of allergy. I recommend Montelukast plus Levocetirizine for the symptomatic relief of cough. I also advise you to consult a child specialist for further evaluation and treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
