Is Laparoscopy Cholecystectomy The Best Treatment For Gallbladder Stones?
Doc how are you.?i am planning to do laparoscopy cholecystectomy tomorrow.and i am really scared.From my ultrasound they ve found out a 9mm gallstone in my bladder and my doc said there is also a leak from my gallbladder so it needs to be removed.But i am wondering if i have it how come i dont feel any pain?and is it the best procedure i could have?i really dont know what to do and what to expect after the procedure.thank you
Hello, Welcome to hcm, Sometimes gallstones can be asymptomatic, laproscopic cholecystectomy is relatively safe procedure. If the cholecystectomy is not performed then you may develop choleycistitis and it's related complications. As laproscopic procedure is relatively painless you can resume your activities very soon with out problems.
