Is Juvenile Diabetes And Thyroid Causing Too Much Sleep?

Hi, I am 23, male HT-5'11" , weight 90 . I was detected with juvinille diabetis at the age of 10. at 11 my thyroid gland gave up .I find it extremely difficult to wake up in the morning. given a chance, i will sleep through my alarm past 1pm.
can you suggest me a solution ? NMJ

I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

Diabetes shouldn't affect much your symptoms, but low thyroid function could well be a factor. It may lead to sluggishness and sleepiness. So thyroid function should be reviewed perhaps your dosage of hormone replacement are low and need to be increased.
Of course you should also pay attention to sleep hygiene, not go to bed in late hours, if that is the case it could well be the cause.
