Is It To Be Concerned About Hypoglycemic Attacks Due To Diabetes?
my mother is a known diabetic {tye 2} for past 20 yrs and for past 5 yrs she is on insulin. suddenly she has started having hyoglycemic attacks in mid morning . she has a morn insulin dose of 28 units. she is 60 yrs of age . weighs around 68 kgs . ht is 5.1 feet.
I have gone through your query. With diabetes, hypoglycemia is always a concern. Hypoglycemia is more fatal than hyperglycemia. She is on 28 units insulin and you haven't mentioned her present blood sugar level. As she is having hypoglycemic attack, her insulin dose need to be adjusted. Consult her diabetologist for investigations and doses.
