Is It Safe To Use Visine Daily?
If a co worker is putting a small amount of VISINE in my coffee daily...what would be the side effects? After leaving my desk to use the restroom, my soda tasted very bitter, after taking one drink my whole throat and stomach felt like I drank acid...then it seems to continue for the rest of the day. It also makes me have horrific intestinal problems. I have never had issues like these before starting this job recently. A co worker was joking about the movie wedding crashers in which visine is used? Any info please?

Visine is an ophthalmic eye drop, a combination of Naphazoline-Pheniramine, naphazoline is a vasoconstrictor & pheniramine, an antihistamine.
It is for local / topical application to reduce the redness, puffiness or any other eye problem, it should be used only when prescribed.
When ingested accidentally it causes low body temperature, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, breathing problem, shakiness (tremor), irregular heartbeat, headache, sweating or nervousness.
If you are having these problems you should urgently visit ER, get clinically examined so that immediate medical help can be given. It may result in poisoning & is hazardous for health.
