Is it safe to use lignocaine hydrochloride gel?

My doctor has suggested me to use Lignocaine hydrochloride gel to use for intercourse pain as I am not able to do intercourse till now because of its severe pain and its almost one month of my marriage, just wanted to know whether it is safe to use that gel.

Hello,

I understand that you are worried whether the use of lignocaine gel would be harmful for you. Lignocaine gel is basically a local anesthetic gel and causes numbness to the area where it is applied.

When usef in small quantities, it is safe, but you should realize thst it can cause numbing of the genital area and possibly a decrease in sexual pleasure. Otherwise, it is not harmful.
