Is It Safe To Use Selsun Blue For Swollen Face And Redness After Using Tanning Bed?

Hello, My daughter, 29 yr old mother of 19 mo old twins, has had since late July, a swollen face, red skin like she just came from a tanning bed and severe pain in knees and feet, similar to that of diabetic neuropathy, without elevated blood glucose. A doctor told her to put Selsun Blue on her skin but has provided nothing else in regards to her other symptoms. We do have MS and other auto-immune diseases on my side of the family. She will be seeing another, new primary doc, on the 8th. I was hoping to send her with a better argument, so to speak, in order for her to get a more definitive diagnoses. It really is making motherhood a nightmare. Thank you for any info
