General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi & Welcome to HCM.

I appreciate your concern for the safety of the prescribed medications for the treatment of hair loss.

The Food and Drug Adminstration (FDA) has approved only two drugs Minoxidil and Finasteride for the treatment of hair loss.

Treatment with Mintop (Minoxidil) can induce an increase in hair density and hair thickness.

Capixyl is a biomimetic peptide combined with red clover extract rich in biochanin A claimed to reduce the hair loss, stimulates hair growth & improves hair follicle anchoring by maintaining proteins matrix support and
integrity. However it is not approved by FDA for the treatment of hair loss because of efficacy or safety concerns.

There is nothing to worry if your discontinue to use Capixyl.

Hope to have answered your query.
