Hello
Isotroin-20 i.e. isotretinoin ,given orally , as well as applied topically , can cause prolonged remission, permanent in 40%. In fact oral isotretinion would be a drug of choice for most patients with pimples ..
A dramatic reduction in the oiliness of the skin is apparent within a month of starting treatment .
Since you didn't mention the condition of your skin , so I mentioned all these things in detail.
Its common side effects are DRYNESS of skin and itching. Less commonly is cause hyperlipidaemia, hypercalcaemia, hair loss arthralgias depression.
These are uncommon side effects , so need not to worry , rather take full treatment . However ,even , if you will take on alternate day ,it will provide results , however late.
Good luck.
