Hi there, I went to the pharmacy yesterday and bought some Clotrimazole cream for my thrush. I told the pharmicist that i am 14 weeks pregnant and he said it would be fine and to just not insert the applicator very deep, im just double checking if it is safe for me to use at all? (my thrush is pretty bad with big cuts from itching) :-)
Hello.
Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.
If you are using clotrimazole vaginal pessary for vaginal infection, still it is better to avoid such drugs during the first trimester that is, upto 12 weeks of pregnancy. But if the discharge is real bad, then you can use it.
