General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,
I can understand your concern for your health.
As far as you are symptom-free, you can travel and re-schedule the surgery for gall bladder later on.
Gall bladder removal for stones would be done in emergency condition only if wall of gall bladder is thickened, stone impacted on gall bladder wall or rupture of gall bladder.
Surgery would be laparoscopic which is very safe.

Hope I answered your question. If you have any further doubts, i would be happy to help you.
Have a nice day!
