Is It Safe To Travel With Enlarged Spleen ?

my husband has a huge spleen he is an active 39 year old last week he was taken to hospital feeling very weak it turned out to be sepsis he had 3 transfusions and at present his blood has gone from 5 .5 to 8.9 what can i do to aid his recovery and can he travel? thanks

Hi, dear
He has sepsis with enlarged spleen. You should admit him in hospital with hemoglobin level 5.5. He need blood transfusion. search for the cause of that fall in hemoglobin and take treatment accordingly. It is not safe to travel in this condition and it is not advisable.
