Hi, my daughter is 27 weeks pregnant and has just been told that she has a very big cervical polyp that is causing some spotting. She had booked a flight some months ago (before falling pregnant). It will be about a 13 hour flight. This is apparently not affecting the actual pregnancy. Is it safe enough to travel?
Dear member, Thanks for writing. If the cervical polyp is not causing any significant bleeding or pain then it may not bother much during pregnancy. If she has no other problems then there is no reason went she can fly. Thanks Dr Bhagyashree
